Man City Players Defines Guardiola As a “Tinker”

Manchester City Players Tell Boss Pep Guardiola to Stop tinkering…

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola reportedly faced criticism from his own players following his side’s 2-0 Premier League defeat at Tottenham on Sunday.

The loss left defending champions City trailing leaders Liverpool by 22 points in the table, and in a lock-in after the game Pep’s players are believed to have voiced their concerns over his chopping and changing.

Guardiola is yet to name an unchanged line up in consecutive league games for Man City this season, and Sportsmail has revealed that his team have asked for some stability.

In a 45-minute dressing room inquiry, Guardiola laid everything on the line and asked his squad for a frank assessment of their season so far.

It was during theses so-called crisis talks that senior members of City’s ranks came forward, questioning the manager’s tendency to tweak his tactics and lineups this campaign.

The Spaniard has become the proverbial tinker man, making more changes than any other Premier League boss this season – 76 and counting.

Pep Guardiola

Compare that to Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp who has made 30 fewer changes to his line up and it shows that Pep’s charges have a point over the lack of consistency.

However, it is not all doom and gloom for City, nor is it the first time that Pep has had a heart-to-heart with his squad in the wake of a poor result.

Last January, a not-too-dissimilar dressing room scenario unfolded after City suffered a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United at St James’ Park.

On that occasion, airing their dirty laundry definitely worked as Pep’s men went on to win all of their 14 remaining fixtures and pipped Klopp’s side to the title.

Now, this season it would be more than far-fetched to believe the Cityzens still have a chance of retaining their Premier League crown, but champions of Europe is still a very real possibility.

Landing the club’s first Champions League triumph has to be the main goal for City and Pep will be hoping this latest dressing room saga fires them to success.

It may be the reality check that City needed as they prepare for the first leg of their Champions League last 16 encounter with Real Madrid in just over three weeks time.

Pep’s team will travel to the Bernabéu to face a Madrid side who are sitting pretty at the top of La Liga, a tough task where team togetherness is vital if they are to succeed.

Riyad Mahrez,Pep Guardiola
The former Barcelona boss will be praying that the Spurs dressing down carries the same shock factor as the St James’ episode and kick start City’s second half of the season.

Two Men Threatens To Kill Özil

Security Guard Claims Two Men ‘Threatened to Kill’ Mesut Ozil Outside His North London home…

Mesut Ozil’s security guard revealed that two men ‘threatened to kill’ the Arsenal star and his guards outside his in court on Tuesday.

Ozil and teammate Sead Kolasinac were caught up in an attempted carjacking the previous month in what was believed to be a separate incident.

However, on this occasion, Ferhat Ercan and Salaman Ekinci, both 27 and from Tottenham, were arrested by police following an altercation with Ozil’s security staff outside his Camden home. The two men were later charged with a public order offence.

Mesut Ozil
While Ozil himself was not present for the hearing, security guard Kemil Sezer told Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court that the two men threatened to kill the Arsenal man and the guards, while they also shouted expletives regarding the player’s mother.

“They swore in Turkish, saying ‘f*** your mothers, we’re going to f*** Mesut’s mother and we’re going to come back in five minutes and if security don’t go from here, we’re going to kill Mesut Ozil and kill you,'” Sezer said, as quoted by Sky Sports.

“We started chasing them…we got angry because Mesut Ozil, about two to three weeks prior, was attacked and we feared that the same thing would happen.”

Sky Sports note that Sezer told the court that he and a colleague had been protecting the attacking midfielder after he was caught up in the now infamous carjacking incident which was caught on CCTV and widely shared on social media.

The security guard, who was assisted by a Turkish interpreter, further went on to state that he first saw the two men at around 7.30pm on 8 August last year, before they returned around three hours later when it was dark. When they returned a third time after midnight the security guards detained them and called the police.

Mesut Ozil

When asked how he felt by prosecutor Sarah Gabay, he replied: “Stressed…Mesut Ozil is loved by the Turkish people. We have that responsibility on us to protect him.”

Gabay, however, revealed that the two men denied using such language, instead claiming that they were attacked by the security guards. She said: “In interview both defendants denied using the language and said there had been no conversation between them and said they had been attacked by the security guards.”

Ekinci and Ercun deny one count of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. The trial continues

Álvaro Odriozola Breaks Teammate Ivan Perišić’s Ankle in Bayern Training

Bayern Munich’s Ivan Perišić is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a fractured ankle after teammate Álvaro Odriozola, on loan from Real Madrid, fouled the Croatian in training.

The Bavarians have claimed they expect their winger to be out for at least a month, meaning he is likely to miss Bayern’s visit to Stamford Bridge on 25 February, where they face Chelsea in the round of 16 of the Champions League.

Hans Dieter Flick, the club’s interim manager, confirmed reports of the injury and stated he anticipated Perišić will be sidelined for ‘at least four weeks’ after sustaining the injury during Tuesday morning’s training session.

Bayern’s stand-in manager added at his latest press conference, as reported by Goal, “We thought it wasn’t that bad, but he has a fracture in his outer ankle. It needs to be screwed back on.”

Perišić, currently on a season-long loan from Inter Milan, had started his side’s previous five matches. He has registered a total of five goals, and eight assists across 22 appearances in all competitions so far.

While it looks unlikely the 31-year-old will be fit for Bayern’s European knockout tie, he will also miss Wednesday’s DFB cup contest with Hoffenheim, the weekend’s top-of-the-table clash with Leipzig, as well as league clashes with Koln, Paderborn and Hoffenheim again.

Ivan Perisic

The Croatian’s injury certainly comes as a crushing blow for a Bayern side that have recently rediscovered an impressive vein of form that has seen them regain their place at the top of the Bundesliga.

Flick does have the likes of Serge Gnabry, and Philipe Coutinho at his disposal, but certainly would have preferred a fully-fit squad to choose from ahead of the Chelsea clash, especially given their struggles in the Champions League in recent seasons.

Last time out, Bayern exited after losing 3-1 on aggregate to eventual champions Liverpool in the last 16. They will be aiming to avoid a similar fate on this occasion, but will have to do so without Perišić’s vast experience in competing at Europe’s top level.

Terry G: I am Jesus

Singer, Terry G, has described himself as the “Jesus” of Nigerian music, saying he set the pace for the present trend in the industry.

The “Free Madness” crooner who has been silent in the musical scene for some years, claimed that Nigerians have now embraced his kind of music.

Terry G who spoke to Channels Television on Tuesday, admitted that he was criticised and discriminated because he smokes, and for his kind of music when he started out years ago.

“I’m the Jesus of Nigerian music, I’m not the Christ. The Christ is the savior, Jesus is a name, and for the fact that Jesus is the most popular name that died for us and sacrificed for us,” the singer explained.

He added, “It took me a while to take this risk that a lot of persons discriminated against me for and now, they see people smoking, doing stuff and nobody is talking. There must be a pace-setter.”

According to Terry G, he is the “Jesus” of the Nigerian music industry who set the pace and sacrificed for his artistic genre.

He, however, claimed many Nigerians were hypocritical, adding that they have embraced and supported most of the things they criticised him for in the past.

Comparing himself to rave of the moment, Naira Marley, Terry G admitted that it was not in his place to decide whether he was more influential than the UK-trained artiste.

Marley, the singer said, is only trying to ‘archive’ him, although he sees both of them “making the world go crazier.”

The “Akpako Master” also revealed that he once rejected a deal with Sony Music, claiming that it did not pay.

He, therefore, called on Nigerian singers to ensure they understand the details of every agreement before they sign deals.

In addition, Terry G urged artistes to take advantage of their fame, saying it does not last forever.

“When the lights are shining on you, do not think that they would be forever. My own fame was full of pressure, controversies,” he decried.

Bovi demands an apology from ThisDay newspaper after they apologized to Bishop Oyedepo

Bovi has demanded for an apology from ThisDay newspaper after they apologized to Bishop Oyedepo for the false report that he was denied US visa.

ThisDay editor issued an apology printed on their paper to the Winners Chapel founder. In the Editorial, it was stated that the report that Oyedepo was denied visa by the US embassy was found to be incorrect and an apology was tendered.

“If you?re apologizing to the Bishop, it is incomplete without recourse to me and my family” Bovi demands an apology from ThisDay newspaper

But comedian Bovi felt the apology was incomplete since he and his wife were not mentioned.

He pointed out that he and his wife Kris Ugboma were mentioned in the report to make it more sensational but when it was time to issue an apology, they left his family out and only apologized to Bishop Oyedepo.

It was claimed in the inital story that Bovi was issued a US visa while his wife was denied.

Bovi said the false report has affected his family greatly and he’s demanding an apology too.

“If you?re apologizing to the Bishop, it is incomplete without recourse to me and my family” Bovi demands an apology from ThisDay newspaper

He wrote: “Dear @thisdaynewspaper Editor, I just woke up to your apology to Bishop Oyedepo about the false story you published on him.

“I’m beginning to question wether you even read the story you’re apologizing for in the first place. Because if you did, you will know that in the reporters bid to add sting to the story, it was stated that I was issued the visa while my wife was denied.

“The slide above shows that neither me nor my wife was at the embassy on the said date, as your report suggests. Did you think my name and that of my wife in your sensational story were inanimate objects? Are you trying to measure us? What makes you think that the spice you added in cooking a poisonous meal should not be sifted as you try to purify your brand? Do you have any idea how damaging your story was to our peaceful life? Do you know how many calls and texts we had to respond to because of your story?

“What you have done is irresponsible, unprofessional, condescending and indecent. Your job is based primarily on research and information gathering. So if you really do not know me, note that I’m as global as your mind can imagine.

“If you’re apologizing to the Bishop, it is incomplete without recourse to me and my family.
I urge you to further your education to avoid such errors in future. Thank you.”

Odion Ighalo to wear No 25 for Manchester United as the Nigerian striker prepares for possible debut against Chelsea

The club on Tuesday posted a video of his new jersey number on it’s official Twitter handle, urging fans to buy the new jersey as it had been added to the club’s shop.

The shirt has not been in use since full back Antonio Valencia departed the Red Devils last summer.

Ighalo, a childhood Manchester United fan set to earn N62m weekly at the club, was signed for £3m from Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua on loan for 6 months.

90% of Boko Haram attacks are on Muslims

President Buhari has said that contrary to the opinion in some quarters, Boko Haram is not primarily targeting Christians as Muslims form about 90 per cent of its victims.

The President said this in an op-ed published in Christianity Today, titled “Buhari: Pastor Andimi’s faith should inspire Nigerians,”.

In the article which was published on Monday February 3rd, the president eulogised the chairman of Michika, Adamawa State Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Lawan Andimi, who was recently beheaded by Boko Haram for refusing to renounce his Christian faith.

President Buhari in the article, stated that the attacks by Boko Haram members have repeatedly shown that it is not religious based. According to the President, the sect members have over time attacked and kidnapped many Muslim faithfuls.

“Christianity in Nigeria is not—as some seem intent on believing—contracting under pressure, but expanding and growing in numbers approaching half of our population today. Nor is it the case that Boko Haram is primarily targeting Christians: not all of the Chibok schoolgirls were Christians; some were Muslims, and were so at the point at which they were taken by the terrorists.

Indeed, it is the reality that some 90 per cent of all Boko Haram’s victims have been Muslims: they include a copycat abduction of over 100 Muslim schoolgirls, along with their single Christian classmate; shootings inside mosques; and the murder of two prominent imams. Perhaps it makes for a better story should these truths, and more, be ignored in the telling” the article in part reads

He appealed to Nigerians never to allow themselves be divided along religious lines. The president said Andimi’s attribute even in the face of death, should inspire all Nigerians.

Read the article below

Nigerians everywhere, those of belief and those of none, are mourning the death of pastor Lawan Andimi, taken from us by Boko Haram for his refusal to denounce his Christian faith.

I did not know Pastor Andimi personally. Yet Nigerians and I both know him and his church by their works: healing, caring, feeding and educating, particularly in the northeastern regions of my country—in those areas threatened for too long by terrorists. Every day, the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria (EYN) places itself there bravely where the brotherhood of man is most in need of sustenance.

Pastor Andimi’s ministry was located only 60 miles from the town of Chibok, from where in 2014 the world witnessed the shocking kidnapping of 267 schoolgirls. That even one individual—this time a man of the church—could still be taken by the terror group seven years later might be viewed as evidence the terrorists are fully functional, and undefeated. But it is not.

Since I was first elected to office in 2015, 107 of the Chibok girls have been freed. Today we seek the others. Boko Haram are no longer one, unified threat, but fractured into several rivals. These splinters are themselves degraded: reduced to criminal acts which—nonetheless no less cruel—target smaller and smaller numbers of the innocent. We owe thanks to the Nigerian defense forces, bolstered by our partnership with the British, American militaries and other countries that we are winning this struggle in the field.

But we may not, yet, be completely winning the battle for the truth. Christianity in Nigeria is not—as some seem intent on believing—contracting under pressure, but expanding and growing in numbers approaching half of our population today. Perhaps it makes for a better story should these truths, and more, be ignored in the telling.

It is a simple fact that these now-failing terrorists have targeted the vulnerable, the religious, the non-religious, the young, and the old without discrimination. And at this point, when they are fractured, we cannot allow them to divide good Christians and good Muslims from those things that bind us all in the sight of God: faith, family, forgiveness, fidelity, and friendship to each other.

Yet sadly, there is a tiny, if vocal, minority of religious leaders—both Muslim and Christian—who appear more than prepared to take their bait and blame the opposite religious side. The terrorists today attempt to build invisible walls between us. They have failed in their territorial ambitions, so now instead they seek to divide our state of mind, by prying us from one from another—to set one religion seemingly implacably against the other.

Translated into English, Boko Haram means “Western teachings are sinful.” They claim as “proof” passages of the Quran which state that Muslims should fight “pagans” to be justification for attacks on Christians and those Muslims who hold no truck with them. They are debased by their wilful misreading of scripture—at least those of them who are able to read at all.

Of course, there is much of Christianity and Islam—both in teaching and practice—that are not the same. Were that not so, there would be no need for the separateness of the two religions. Yet though these unread terrorists seem not to know it, there is much between our two faiths—both the word and the scripture—that run in parallel.

For the Bible teaches, “Each one must give as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion” (2 Cor. 9:7), while the Quran states: “There is no compulsion in religion” (2:256). Similarly, the Bible states: “For if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror” (James 1:23). The Quran concurs: “Those who believe and do good works, theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward” (35:7).

I call on Nigeria’s faith leaders, and Nigerians everywhere, to take these words of concord—and the many more that exist—to their hearts and their deeds. Just as my government, and our international partners, quicken our campaign to defeat Boko Haram within and without our borders, we must turn our minds to the future. There is no place in Nigeria for those who seek to divide us by religion, who compel others to change their faith forcibly, or try to convince others that by so doing, they are doing good.

Rather, we might all learn from the faith and works of Pastor Andimi. There seems little doubt he acted selflessly in so many regards—giving alms and prayers to both Christians and Muslims who suffered at the hands of the terrorists. And he passed from us, rightly refusing to renounce his faith that was not for his captors to take, any more than his life. His belief and his deeds are a lesson and an inspiration to all of us.

2020: Buhari presents visa policy

President Muhammadu Buhari has officially presented to the public the Nigeria Visa Policy (NVP) for the year 2020.

He presented the document at the State House in Abuja, on Tuesday. The document is a revised version.

President Buhari said the review of the visa policy is intended to attract innovation, specialised skills and knowledge from abroad to complement local ones.

The 2020 visa policy is to enhance business opportunities and achieve African integration through the visas on arrival for holders of passports of African Union countries.

There are 79 visa classifications in the revised policy, one of which is the Visa on arrival.

The revised policy is a sequel to Buhari’s pronouncements in November 2019 that a new policy of visas on arrival would be granted to all African travellers starting from January 2020.

The new policy favours Africans with a valid passport who wish to come into the country for a short visit, for businesses, and for tourism, as the visa grants them legal stay for up to 90 days.

President Buhari added that the visa on arrival policy provides an avenue to achieve African integration.

D.Alli Sad To See Eriksen leave For Inter

Dele Alli Admits He Was Sad to See Christian Eriksen Leave Tottenham for inter…

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has confessed that he was sad to see Denmark international Christian Eriksen leave the club during the January transfer window.

Eriksen had rejected offers of a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and wanted to leave last summer, but a move never materialised and so was prepared to walk away for free at the end of the season. Spurs eventually accepted an offer from Inter for around £16.9m.

Dele Alli
Both Eriksen and Alli had been vital players for the club in recent seasons, and the Englishman admitted (via the Evening Standard) that he will miss having someone of Eriksen’s quality around.

“Chris is an amazing player, but it came to that point where he wanted to move on,” Alli admitted.

“It was sad for me and the other boys because he got on with everyone, he was a great squad player, he got on well, he was great in training and always working hard on the pitch.

“He gave me a lot of assists as well and I am going to miss them, but at the same time I wish him all the best and I am sure we will speak soon, maybe go for dinner.”

Amid all the transfer drama, Eriksen’s form undoubtedly took a nosedive. He managed just three goals and three assists during the first half of the season, and his inconsistency saw him booed by Spurs supporters during matches for a perceived lack of interest.

“He’s been amazing,” Alli insisted. “You don’t want to speak to him too much about what is going on but he has been giving 100%, always been training hard, always been committed to the club.

Christian Eriksen

“You read a lot and see a lot but you would never be able to tell that he wasn’t focused. He was always positive and never really spoke about anything other than Tottenham. It is a huge honour to have played with him and I wish him all the best.”

After making his debut in a Coppa Italia victory over Fiorentina, Eriksen was handed his first start for Inter in Sunday’s 2-0 win over Udinese.

Real Madrid “tactically” Plans To Sign Mbappe

The Details Behind Real Madrid’s Plan to Sign Kylian Mbappé From PSG…

Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez is ready to deploy the same tactics which he used to sign Eden Hazard to try and strike a deal for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé in 2021.

The Frenchman is one of Real’s top targets, but concerns over the astronomical price of the deal and PSG’s determination not to sell have left Los Blancos unable to simply flash their cash and sign him whenever they want.

Florentino Perez
Instead, AS note that Pérez is focused on signing Mbappé in 2021, and he is ready to start putting the long-term plan in motion to try and ensure that they can strike a deal for a relatively affordable fee.

The plan focuses on Mbappé’s contract. He is currently under contract until 2022, but Real know that they will be able to sign him once he enters the final year of his deal as PSG will certainly not allow such a valuable asset to walk away for free.

The belief is that Mbappé would cost between €150m and €200m at that point, compared to the €300m which has been suggested for a transfer at the current moment in time.

However, this all depends on Mbappé refusing to sign a contract extension. Pérez is ready to make indirect contact with the player’s representatives to try and encourage him to snub any contract talks.

It is a similar strategy which they used to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea last summer, with the Blues ultimately forced to sell after the Belgian entered the final year of his contract.

What works in their favour is that Mbappé is thought to be hugely frustrated with life in Paris. He has clashed with manager Thomas Tuchel over substitutions and is thought to be considering his future at the club.

Pérez is taking a back seat and watching all that play out, in the hope that PSG will accept that they can no longer keep Mbappé.

The main concern is that Real have an excellent relationship with PSG, and Pérez does not want to do anything to ruin that. He does not want to be seen as the man who stole Mbappé, but rather someone who offered a huge sum of money to stop the French side from losing him for free.

Investigation On Neymar’s Injury.

Investigating Neymar’s Curious Injury Record on His (& His Sister’s) birthday…

Neymar will celebrate his 28th birthday on 5 February (Feliz Aniversário!), but his festivities looked to have been spoiled as he was ruled out of Tuesday’s meeting with Nantes with a rib injury.

Fortunately, it wasn’t serious enough to stop him throwing a lavish party on Sunday. Phew.

The Brazilian is well known for his love of parties, having thrown a number of huge get-togethers, shindigs and soirées and in the past. It was thought that he might opt for something a little more casual this year…but the allure of a big bash was clearly too strong to resist and instead he threw a lavish (apparently white themed) do at Yoyo nightclub in Paris on Sunday.

Neymar will miss Tuesday’s game with Nantes as he recovers from his rib injury, but this isn’t the first time he has been ‘injured’ around his birthday

Neymar was sidelined with a foot injury last year (but was still partying on crutches), while he was ‘rested’ for a Coupe de France meeting with Sochaux back in 2018. Such rotten luck.

He is yet to play around his birthday since moving to Paris Saint-Germain…which just looks like a coincidence, right?

Perhaps, but then you see his match record around the date of his sister Rafaella Santos’ birthday, 11 March.

The ‘curse’ of his sister started back in 2015 when he was still with Barcelona. Neymar picked up too many yellow cards and ended up being suspended around his sis’ celebrations, so La Blaugrana allowed him to return to Brazil.

Another suspension followed in 2016, as Neymar returned to celebrate with his sister yet again at a huge Disney-themed party.

A muscular problem sidelined him around the date in 2017, and the injury trend has continued in Paris. Foot injuries forced him to miss plenty of matches in both 2018 and 2019, but he was still able to go celebrate with his sister.

It’s a coincidence which has not gone unnoticed, and even Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has called him out on it.

“I like to play with the best and Neymar is one of them,” he told Cadena SER (via Marca), adding with a laugh, “What we would have to negotiate is his sister’s birthday.”

This year, PSG will take on Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of their Champions League last 16 tie on 11 March.

Sterling Looks Forward To Facing Real Madrid

Raheem Sterling ‘Expected’ to Face Real Madrid in Champions League Despite Hamstring injury…

Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling is set to miss ‘two or three weeks’ of action after he suffered a hamstring injury during his side’s defeat to Tottenham. However, the forward is ‘expected’ to be fit in time to face Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The England international began City’s 2-0 defeat to Spurs, which was the Citizens’ sixth league defeat this campaign. Oleksandr Zinchenko was sent off in the 60th minute and the north London side capitalised, with Steven Bergwijn scoring on his debut before Son Heung-min doubled the hosts’ lead.

A bad result and overall performance… We should have done the job and score way before being punished tonight. Lessons got to be learned for the next important games

During the game, Sterling was booked for a potentially dangerous tackle on Dele Alli, resulting in the Tottenham midfielder leaving the field early. However, Sterling himself was later substituted and was seen hobbling off.

The Sun now report that the former Liverpool man had tests on a hamstring problem on Sunday and he is expected to be ruled out for ‘two or three weeks’. The report further claims that, as a result, he is a ‘big doubt’ for the Sky Blues’ upcoming last-16 Champions League tussle with Real Madrid.

However, ESPN report that the club are ‘confident’ they will have him available for the crunch clash despite his injury. City travel to the Santiago Bernabeu for the first leg of the tie on 26 February, with the Sun claiming that the player is ‘determined’ to be fit in time to play.

The injury is considered to be ‘not too serious’, though he appears certain to miss the visit of West Ham on Sunday. However, after that, the Citizens are not in action until they travel to take on Leicester City 13 days later. While ESPN report that City are confident he will be fit the game against Los Blancos, they do state that he is a ‘doubt’ for the trip to take on the Foxes.

City take on Real Madrid on 26 February, while they also have the Carabao Cup final the following Sunday (1/3), with the club looking to retain their crown.

This news will come as a major blow for manager Pep Guardiola, who recently insisted that he was unconcerned about the attacker’s goal drought, but Sterling will be desperate to recover in time to feature in the Champions League tie.

Man United Reveals Ighalo’s Squad Number

Manchester United loan signing Odion Ighalo has been assigned the number 25 shirt following his short-term arrival from Shanghai Shenhua until the end of the season.

The Ighalo deal was concluded late on transfer deadline day and will give United a boost up front while Marcus Rashford is recovering from injury. The club is expected to pay around a third of his £300,000 weekly wages while he is in Manchester.

The number 25 shirt was last worn at United by former club captain Antonio Valencia, who vacated the jersey when he was released at the end of last season after 10 years of service.

Ighalo has worn number nine for Chinese Super League clubs Changchun Yatai and Shanghai Shenhua since leaving Premier League club Watford in 2017. He previously wore 24 for the Hornets and has even used the 25 shirt in the past during one season of his stint at Granada.

The 30-year-old Nigerian, who grew up watching United, has been a prolific goalscorer in China, scoring 46 league goals in three seasons to date – including 21 in 2018 alone.

At Watford, he scored 20 goals in the Championship in 2014/15 en-route to promotion, followed by 16 in his debut year in the Premier League. He never found the net against United, although did register an assist in a 2-1 Watford defeat at Vicarage Road in November 2015.

“It’s a dream come true because since I was a kid I followed and dreamt of Manchester United. But it is a reality now. I cannot say much more now until I get started,” Ighalo said of the move.

“It’s been crazy. Obviously, I am happy to be in Manchester first of all. This is a great opportunity for me and I am grateful to God, and to my agent, and the coach who has given me this opportunity to be here. I am happy to be here and to work out with the team and finish very well this season.”

… illegal use of such practices constitute security risks to the people and country

On Monday, February 3, the inspector general of police, Mohammed Adamu, made moves in ensuring the safety of the people and country when he gave a new order.

The directive was given from the police boss because such practices are illegal and constitute security risks.

It was previously reported that Adamu warned police unit commanders against illegal acts such as harassing citizens and mounting unauthorised roadblocks.

The IGP issued the warning on Wednesday, January 8, after meeting in Abuja with unit commanders. Adamu issued the warning after several reports of illegal and unprofessional acts by police operatives which are against the police force.

Just in: What could Mayorkun, be up to?!

DMW’s Mayourkun attended an event in Miami over the weekend and that was where he met legendary singer and producer,

The two music acts clicked instantly and conversed like they had been friends for a long time. Mayorkun also gave him his sun glasses to try out and played his latest track “Geng” which seemed to enjoy so much that he said they have to collaborate on a Black Eyed Peas album.

So it’s safe to say that a big collaboration would be coming our way soon.
