Hakim Ziyech is a Blue!

Ziyech is known to be one of manager Frank Lampard’s top targets and it looks as though he is now set for a move to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Chelsea have agreed a £40million deal for Ajax star Hakim Ziyech.

Boss Frank Lampard was desperate to land the Moroccan forward in January and was disappointed to not to get him in before the transfer window closed.

However, he is now set to get his man this summer despite the fact Ziyech only penned a new three-year contract with the Dutch giants at the end of last season.

Dutch newspaper Der Telegraaf claims that Chelsea must finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League to land him.

But the deal has been agreed by all parties and Lampard will be delighted that his squad will be strengthened after the club failed to bring in any new blood last month.

At the time he said: “Some things are not in my control. My first thought as always is what happens on the training pitch. It’s clear that we wanted to bring players in.

“I certainly wanted to bring players in. I think I’ve made that pretty clear over the last few weeks and it hasn’t happened.”

It is believed the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal were also tracking Ziyech, but the Blues have moved quickly to snap him up.

The 26-year-old has been at Ajax since 2016 but only really grabbed the attentions of Europe’s elite teams last season, when he performed admirably against the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus and scored against Tottenham in the semi-final second leg.

It’s only weed
Don’t be rude
Use your manners

[Verse 1]
Joints get lit
Hate on me, what’s the point of it?
These niggas I’m disappointed in
Can’t hang with me like an ornament
If she bring a friend, she joining in
My gang official, we born to win
I’m rollin’ weed and pourin’ gin, woo!
‘Nother plane, I board again
I revived, feel born again
I’m in the sky, I’m soaring in
Got a few vibes, bring ’em foreigns in
Valet be gettin’ the door for him
She get them ones off the floor for them
Makin’ these lil’ niggas forfeit
If I ain’t rappin’, that mean I’m tourin’
Show up, I’m very important
They be like “It is Khalifa?”, of course it is
Grindin’, you don’t have to force the kid
Marry the game, won’t divorce the bitch
Makin’ the money, you never make me
On top of game, you could never play me
I was at class, next to JAY-Z
Smoking a joint with Nas and Swizz Beatz
Took off the Celine’s, A1’s on my feet
I’m rollin’ a J, my night is complete

[Chorus: Sample]

[Verse 2]
I’m really realizing that I’m the man
That if I really wanna do it, I can
I’m smoking that gas, I share with my fam
My foot on the gas, I stick to the plan
You don’t know me personal, please don’t call me Cam
And if you do, then some weed should be in your hand
I turn to the boss, got tired of the middle-man
I smoke when I want, roll up even in Japan
You hear me talk it, I live it
It’s all 100, I don’t got a gimmick
Pullin’ my card and I don’t got no limit
Rollin’ the chronic up I’m like a chemist
Way that I ball, I might end up in Guinness
I know they probably think I’m a magician
Walk in and leave out with all of the bitches
I’m at the top, I don’t see competition
If she with me, when I talk, she gon’ listen
Wired to the money, do not give it distance
Gettin’ some millions, I got them intentions
And know I came from the bottom, my name at the top and I don’t even ask for permission
And they all line up and ask for pictures
Hard to imagine this life that I’m living

Ayo, I never had common sense
But I had enough sense to calm my ass down and make my dollars stretch

Uh, ayo, I never had common sense
But I had enough sense to calm myself down and make my dollars stretch
I’m like basketball to net how I make it all connect
Move strong so the funds I collect come correct when the boss nigga check ya
If you don’t come from the set, I don’t respect ya
Better yet, jump on a jet and give them checks up
I never give nothin’ less than my best
You can tell by the way that I’m dressed
Grey bottom and my dreads always fresh
Smoke so much, I swear that I’m blessed
Know so much, I swear I’m a genius
And I’m K-Oing niggas, we ain’t callin’ it even
Spent too much time online, I’m with your broad for the evening
She a big ol’ freak, I pull it out and she eat it

You might think I got time to kill ’cause I’m so real
Lot of niggas I could’ve checked this year, but I’ma chill
I ain’t gotta tell that they fake, in time, it will
When it come to being certified, I’m signed and sealed
Signed a deal since I was 16, I been gettin’ cream
A young nigga smokin’ weed like it’s nicotine
Made my own scene
If that’s your girl, then why she kick it with the whole team?
Smoke the whole thing
Eyes hella low, never tried, then you’ll never know
Young Khalifa flows so incredible
Off of six joints and a edible
I don’t write it down, it ain’t legible
Professional from the head to toe
Big vegetables, we ain’t smokin’ no oregano
Never pedal slow, we just catch and go
And when I’m finished with this shit, it’s gon’ be set in stone
A real king, before I’m done, I’ll have to get a throne
Better know as the nigga killin’ every fuckin’ verse
And puttin’ rappers in a hearse
And when you do it like me, niggas see your blessings as a curse
But, shit, I could be doing worse

Fuck y’all

Sometimes you gotta cut a motherfucker, huh?
Don’t be that mothafucka
Realistically I’m just sittin’ back
Got back to the crib
Got a pile of KK
Pack of cones
Just doin’ what I do
Ain’t shit changed

Smokin’ weed and livin’ how I’m s’possed to be
The police don’t say shit when they approach me
Different day, a different coast
I’m doin’ shit the way I’m s’possed to
Flyin’ private, ‘way from coach
Was a player, now I coach
Hundred mil’, I’m tryna gross
Roll a pound and flow
Pour around a toast
Every day we focused, no matter how much we smoke
Hit it, never miss
Got these niggas pissed
Get caught? Never flip
Charges get dismissed
Been in this ever since I jumped off in this business shit
Nothing personal, must’ve forgot what this business is
I keep hustlin’ and won’t stop until my clique get rich
Won’t do shit, you bury yourself, I’ll let you dig that ditch
You a hustlin’ motherfucker
New crib for my son, an AP for my brother and it’s flooded
Them girls ain’t gon’ get enough of it
Earn my respect, they gon’ keep tellin’ you that I’m fuckin’ rich
Earn my respect, he just get jealous because I fucked his bitch
Earn my respect, so when they come to my house, they don’t take pics
I’m killin’ the competition
They still ain’t got my permission
I’m finna make my decision
I’m holdin’ out my position

One for the money
With a hurt foot, I’ma run to the money
From the dirt, nigga, I don’t come from the money
For what it’s worth, I’ma get it done for the money
Bad bitch with a accent
Askin’ for her IG, she just wanna know where the cash is
Where she from you can’t imagine
At home, she got some bad kids
You ain’t my sons, you my grandkids
Outlandish, caught you red-handed
Stealin’ styles, that’s standard
But what happen when you get abandoned?
That mean I’ma leave a lot of niggas stranded
Fired up, they wanna know what the strain is
Roll another one
Always knew I’d be the man when I was comin’ up
The game made a nigga toughen up
Now all the girls wanna come with us
I don’t need to know her number
If it’s on, then it’s on, meet me deeply undercover
We don’t text or call each other
I give my all or nothing

Let you do all the cuffing
Doobies, I’ma roll a hundred, I done brought enough in
When I handle my biz, ain’t no interruption
I just let my money talk, it ain’t no discussion
The way that shorty give me head, she get a concussion
The best thing that you could do is don’t make an assumption
The flow’s so dope, cops come in, you flush it

Man, my wife’s bustin’
I’ma always take my time, I don’t ever rush shit
Goin’ for fourth down while you niggas puntin’
I just throw a couple rounds, I don’t do the
Not to mention fussin’
Don’t be callin’ up my phone sayin’ all that fuck shit
Got my queen cup a gold bottles at the function
Say I’m lookin’ like a boss, but it’s really nothin’
I just came from customs
Got your bitch crushin’
See me and she blushin’
She just left her husband

Let you do all the cuffing
Doobies, I’ma roll a hundred, I done brought enough in
When I handle my biz, ain’t no interruption
I just let my money talk, it ain’t no discussion
The way that shorty give me head, she get a concussion
The best thing that you could do is don’t make an assumption

So she ran up on me and she was like “Damn, I miss you”
I had to tell the young lady
“You can’t miss what you still have
See, can’t nobody take your spot
You don’t miss me, you just missing’ out”

Uh, I got you open off the words I spit
They tired of the rest, they need some gangster shit
Say I’m the best once the weed get lit
Don’t leave your girl around me cause she might get hit
I rock Celine and all types of shit
At night, we in the studio, where mics get ripped
Doing my thing like a titan
These niggas’ mouth hurt from all the biting
Niggas soft, I ain’t nothing like ’em, don’t need ’em
Say they my man but I don’t believe ’em
I’m getting tanned with a Puertorican
Dropping new shit for my fans
Rings on the fingers, we them champs
Pull up to the party, high as fuck, I roll up in advance
I already know you niggas fake, never trust you again
Keep a lil’ McQueen in my cup, Taylor cuff in my pants
‘Nother red carpet, if they hit you up when I land

I gotta keep it gangsta

I gotta keep it gangsta
I gotta keep it gangsta

I say yessir!

I just copped a chain that I like
I just got some brain at the light
I don’t even exchange if I don’t like it
I go off the brain I don’t write
I’ve flown too many planes in my life
I need a bad bitch, not a wife
I need that plastic when I swipe
I need a million dollars, not advice
Call me, I hit, never call her twice
Call me the kid, my flow very nice
New car, new crib, watch look like a bucket full of ice
Fuck it I’m just livin’ life
All my niggas trained to go, but we don’t wanna fight
Never coppin’ when I land, we bring it on the flight
Said he got a mil, said I’ll be there by tonight
And I’m a boss, so I never pay the full price

Silver shadow
I leave these niggas in the dust, they wish they could be us
Glowing shadow
These fake niggas I don’t trust ‘cuz they see me out
Shining brightly
In the air, in the air
For all to see
And we ain’t goin’ nowhere, we gon’ be right here

Big shadow, don’t battle
But if I did, a nigga get dismantled
Up shit’s creek, no paddle
Shit get deep, you shallow
Switch classrooms, need bad hoes
I can roll a paper plane with my eyes closed
Don’t get rest, always on post
I’m sleepless, Seattle
Blowin’ Cali kush, blue flannel
With a bad bitch, no manners
Yeah she look good, can’t stand her
Young rich nigga, don’t matter
I’m the one, get the two or three after
You my sons, that’s what I do with these bastards
I roll the kush up ‘cuz I need laughter
My life a movie, no actors

Silver shadow
I leave these niggas in the dust, they wish they could be us
Glowing shadow
These fake niggas I don’t trust ‘cuz they see me out
Shining brightly
In the air, in the air
For all to see
And we ain’t goin’ nowhere, we gon’ be right here

[Verse 1]
How you want it? Now or later, I blow a pound of flavors
I’m always rollin kush, don’t be with entertainers
This ain’t just for the look, don’t feel like I need favors
Don’t play it by the book, occupation smokin’ papers
When I pull up they look, cool with the cops and neighbors
I got these niggas shook, like helicopter chases
My car win races, my broad was racist
But now she wanna kick it, get her little brother tickets
I talk, I live it, I ball, I pivot
I go the distance, I’m so persistent
How I’m livin’, stackin’ millions
Rappin’ to children, gettin’ that pack in the buildin’
That real shit, I’m bringin’ the feelin’
That bad bitch, she bringin’ my meal in
My swag good, you think you could steal it
That bag good, I think it’s a million

Count it up
Count the motherfuckin’ money man
When’s the last time you read somethin’?
Never, motherfucka!
Ha ha ha ha
Matter fact, as long as you know how to roll in 2020, you good
You gay!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha

[Verse 2]
Who that is
Countin’ up, keep the weed tucked
Got a bottle of that new McQueen stuff
Your bitch trippin’, tell her ease up
You can see the ink when my sleeves up
It’s hoes down, always g’s up
Put some money down, Rollie freeze up
What would you do if you paid 4.5?
You would live comfortable too, decorate all of your rooms
I don’t know why they assume, only make boss type of moves
They clout chase, I’m hardly amused, but I still try to be cool
I spend a thousand on shoes, I got a house with a pool
I got a mountain to move, she got a mouth, I recruit
If I’m gettin’ paper, she count it up too
If I know the price, my accountant do too
I fly in a place, smoke a pound, and I’m through
All my niggas eat full, what happened to you?

Y’all niggas lookin’ real sad
You look happy, but you look sad
All that partyin’ and shit and buyin’ shit
You just fillin’ an empty motherfuckin’ space
Some shit you wish you had
It’s cool ’cause I know what it feel like ’cause I got it nigga
I got it

Electricity cost a lot – Only Elites can afford – NNPC

The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mele Kyari shared his disappointment with the state of power generation in Nigeria, urging for an alternative.

Kyari attended the Nigeria International Petroleum Summit which provided an opportunity for the signing of a $1.1 million grant between Nigeria and the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) as part-funding for the Abuja Independent Power Project (IPP) in Abuja.

The NNPC chief lamented that Nigerians are still struggling to afford a day’s meal and that electricity is now “a luxury” exclusive for the elite. He added that the challenges of the power supply must be addressed before Nigeria can go into renewable energy.

He said; “For this country and very many of us in sub-Saharan Africa, what we worry about today is actually the meals of today. There are many who can’t afford a meal a day. And of course, electricity is largely a luxury; it’s only for the elite, like all of us here.

“It is the dream of very many to have I-pass-my-neighbour in their homes. When you say, ‘do not use fossil fuel,’ but you have not provided alternatives. The world has not looked at their situation. The world has not recognised that there is abject poverty in the communities.

“We have to resolve the issue of electricity so that we can talk about renewable energy in the future and reduce the use of fossil fuel that has a high impact on the environment. We know that there is an energy transition in the world. With time, there will be less dependence on fossil fuel.

“We have gas in abundance, we must create an infrastructure that will help create gas for power generation.

“We need the power to create jobs and we must create prosperity so that we can have peace in our country. We are grateful for this grant.”

Insecurities: Buratai’s reaction to ‘sack service chiefs’

Nigeria’s Chief of army staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai has stated that the sack of service chiefs over the recent escalation of Boko Haram attacks would not end insurgency in the country.

In an interview in Lagos on Tuesday, Buratai averred that President Muhammadu Buhari should not be pushed into sacking his service chiefs “because he knows where the problems are”.

He said; “I am tempted not to comment on this particular issue because I am directly involved. However, I want to believe that whatever happens, the commander-in-chief is the right arbiter, and he knows where it pinches, he knows where the problems are. I think the decision should be left to him. He should not be pushed or prompted in this regard

“We are into a very serious issue which should not be taken lightly. This is why when you say a particular crop of leaders in the military should be removed for whatever reason, it sounds very odd because we are not addressing the issues. I am not saying this because I am the chief of army staff and I do not want to leave. No, that is not the issue. It is beyond that because this is a national issue, an issue of national pride and national interest. Those who would cry loudly against the service chiefs are within, and they are the ones who should be more vocal in the things that are not going right.”

The Army Chief also dispelled claims of Boko Haram starting off in 2009. He stated that it’s been difficult to wipe out Boko Haram because the “brainwashing and indoctrination” that created the group started off over 30 years.

Mr. Olawale Fapohunda while presenting the Bill appreciated the Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi for his unique responsiveness, passion, and commitment to the safety of the lives and properties of the people in Ekiti State.

The Attorney General, while addressing the Governor on the Amotekun Bill said, all the (6) six Attorney Generals’ from the southwest states namely Ekiti, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Ogun, and Lagos State have been working assiduously to provide a legal framework which will serve as an operational guideline for the proposed Security Agency across the Western States.

#RevolutionNow: Court demands N200,000 damage for Sowore from DSS

Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered the Department of State Security(DSS) to pay N200,000 as damages to the convener of #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore.

The judge said the cost is the consequence of the prosecution’s attempt to delay the trial.

At the court session on Wednesday, Aliyu Halilu, prosecution lawyer, said the charges against the defendants have been amended but that they are yet to be served on them.

Haliyu asked the court to adjourn the case till Thursday for the trial to commence.

Olumide Fusika, Sowore’s counsel, opposed Halilu’s request for an adjournment and asked the court to strike out the case for “lack of diligent prosecution”.

He said even if the adjournment is granted, the trial cannot commence on Thursday because the prosecution is yet to comply with the order of the court which asks it to furnish the defence with statements of the witnesses they intend to call.

Fusika said the prosecution is more interested in subjecting his client to ridicule than trial.

He said Sowore has not seen his family since he was arrested and that if not for “the support of well-wishers, maybe he would be sleeping under a bridge”.

Sowore’s lawyer also said: “This morning, my colleague Marshal approached Mr Halilu to request if there was anything to be served on us and he gave the impression that there was nothing.”

When asked by the judge, a clerk in the court, said indeed Marshal came to him to inquire if the prosecution had filed new processes. He said he directed the counsel back to the prosecution lawyer.

But the prosecution denied the inquiry and asked the judge to reject the submissions of the defendant.

Delivering a ruling, the judge said: “The honourable court views the delay as uncalled for and the application for adjournment as frivolous in view of the reasons for the adjournment sought.”

“Each party is entitled to five adjournments. The prosecution has almost exhausted her five adjournments even before the commencement of trial. There are consequences for every infraction.

“Premised on the provision of section 396(6) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, the prosecution has earned the award of cost against them. Prosecution shall pay a cost of N200,000 to the defence as a consequence of frivolous adjournments.”

Sowore and Bakare are standing trial on seven counts of treasonable felony, fraud, cyber-stalking and insulting the president.

Coronavirus: Good News From China

The proportion of patients who recovered from COVID-19 in China increased to 10.6 percent on Tuesday from the lowest 1.3 percent on Jan. 27, Mi Feng, an official with the National Health Commission, said Wednesday.

The number of cured patients had seen relatively rapid growth, and the epidemic situation also had some positive changes in general due to the country’s reinforced measures against the virus, Mi said at a press conference in Beijing.

As of Tuesday, a total of 4,740 people had been discharged from hospitals after recovery.

Though the death toll climbed past 1,100 on Wednesday but the number of new cases fell for a second straight day, raising hope the outbreak could peak later this month.

In Hubei province, the number of new cases has fallen for two straight days, according to figures from the National Health Commission.

Outside the province, the number of new patients has declined for the past week.

“In general, the number of new cases is now slowly decreasing,” Zhong Nanshan, a renowned scientist at China’s National Health Commission, said in a video conference with medical staff in Wuhan on Tuesday.

As Beijing scrambles to contain the outbreak, the number of people infected on a cruise ship off Japan’s coast rose to 174 — the biggest cluster outside the Chinese mainland.

Another 97 people died in China, raising the national toll to 1,113, while more than 44,600 people have now been infected by newly named COVID-19 virus.

The World Health Organization warned the virus posed a “very grave threat”, but that there a “realistic chance” of curbing the outbreak.

Most of the deaths and majority of cases have been in central Hubei province, whose capital, Wuhan, is the epicentre of the outbreak. Some 56 million have been placed under lockdown in the province.

The epidemic has threatened to harm the world’s second-largest economy, with ANZ bank warning that China’s first-quarter GPD growth would slow to 3.2-4.0 percent, down from a previous projection of 5.0 percent.

“When does the turning point occur? I can’t say. But I think it’s at its peak in mid- to late-February,” he said.

Australia’s chief medical officer was more circumspect, however.

“I think we’ve just got to watch the data very closely over the coming weeks before we make any predictions,” Brendan Murphy told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation

Woman demands Justice for murdered Husband

A widow Mrs. Goodluck Ogbuji, wife of late Nwamaka Ogbuji, an Ugwuatti Community Youth Leader in Ukwa, Abia State, has appealed to the Federal and State Governments for justice.

Goodluck made the call while speaking to newsmen in Aba on Wednesday.

According to the media, the late Ogbuji was an alleged victim of extra-judicial killing by Police Mobile Force men. Policemen attached to Enyimba Economic City Land Acquisition Committee on January 15th, at Ugwuatti community in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia, allegedly shot Ogbuji dead.

The widow told newsmen that the incident leading to her husband’s death was without provocation.

“It took place at the Ugwuatti community hall, without provocation and justification, hence my call for justice for my late husband and family,” she said.

The 24-year-old widow, now nursing a three months old baby, therefore begged the Federal and Abia governments to ensure the killers of her husband did not escape justice.

Goodluck said that since the death of her husband, life had become “a living hell” for her and her three months old baby whom she said was seriously ill.

She said that both she and the child were going through untold hardship as the petty trading business her late husband established for her had gone down.

“It’s painful. Only God in heaven can explain my pains to you and everyone out there. I have been made a widow for no reason at the age of 24; my dear husband was killed for doing absolutely nothing. I’ve cried but have discovered that crying will not stop my pain. Only justice can solve my problem.

“I can’t forget that day they brought evil to my home. I was in the little shop he opened for me a few poles away from our house when people rushed to tell me my husband has been killed.

“My husband is the youth leader of his kindred and he only went to hear what those who came to take the community land for the Enyimba Economic City came to say. The police officers that came with the Coordinator of the Enyimba Economic City, David Akoma, killed my husband for no reason.

“By the custom of our land, I’m supposed to be in my house mourning the evil they brought upon me, but I’m out looking for what to eat and take care of my baby.

“Now, I’m hearing they are accusing my husband whom they shot right in his own community of being a kidnapper. They killed my husband and in a swift move to cover up their evil, they’re now trying to prevent me from getting the deserved justice, that is evil upon evil and good people should not let it stand,” she said.

Mr. Vincent Ogbuji, the younger brother of the deceased, also urged the Abia government to ensure justice was done because of his brother’s gruesome death.

“I want justice; let them prosecute David Akoma and his group who masterminded the killing of my brother. We’re weeping uncontrollably day and night and the little boy whose father they killed always cry because he has been used to his father carrying him before his painful death,” he said.

N.Rs culled that Mr. Ene Okon, the Abia Commissioner of Police, had told newsmen that Ugwuatti youths armed themselves and tried to snatch rifles from police officers resulting in Ogbuji’s death.

Okon’s statement was however refuted by Ugwuatti people and family members of the deceased, his wife and eyewitnesses who also said that the police were trying to hide their extra-judicial murder.
