Real Betis are trying to extend the contracts of a number of their players amidst the uncertainty going into the upcoming transfer window, and one of those players is Loren Moron.
Los Verdiblancos have been able to get academy graduate Edgar Gonzalez to sign a new deal, so Loren is next on the agenda.
The 26-year-old’s current deal is set to expire in 2022, but Betis want to extend his stay until 2024, with his release clause set to remain at 50 million euros.
Loren is one of Betis’ lowest earners at the moment, but the club want to reward him for the 11 goals he has scored in LaLiga Santander and the Champions League, with his performances having attracted interest from many European clubs.
Now, Betis hope to reach an agreement with Loren before the resumption of LaLiga Santander in mid-June.
