Roma have confirmed the signing of former Barcelona and Chelsea winger Pedro.
The 33-year-old joins the Serie A club after his five-year stay at Stamford Bridge ended this summer when his contract expired.
It was reported back in June that the Spaniard had agreed a deal in principle to join the Italian giants, and today the club finally confirmed that he is a Roma player.
The club posted a video onto their Twitter page showing Pedro arriving at the club’s facilities for a medical, signing the deal and holding up his new shirt.
Alongside the video was pictures of missing children as part of the club’s campaign to help find lost children which has been ongoing since last July.
The experienced winger joined the club in 2015 and won the Premier League during the 2016-17 campaign under Antonio Conte, the FA Cup in 2018 and the Europa League in 2019.
The Spain international scored 43 goals in 201 games since joining the club from Barcelona.
Pedro signed for the Blues from Barcelona for a fee of £21million having won five league titles and three Champions League trophies during his time in Spain.
The forward played just 18 times since Frank Lampard became head coach at Stamford Bridge last summer and he will be hoping for more regular game time in Rome.
