The overhaul currently underway at Barcelona isn’t exclusively for the first team, with B team stars Alex Collado and Monchu set to be offloaded by the club.
After failing to earn promotion to the Segunda Division, Barcelona B are set to see a number of changes.
Inaki Pena, Ronald Araujo, Riqui Puig and Ansu Fati will form part of the Barcelona first team squad next season.
Yet others aren’t so fortunate, particularly Collado and Monchu who are ready to make the step up senior football but the Blaugrana are instead looking to sell the pair.
Monchu was offered to Valencia as part of Barcelona’s bid for Rodrigo Moreno last season and the 21-year-old is thought to still be of interest to Los Che, while Genoa and Sassuolo are also keen.
Collado’s minutes in the first team has also sparked interest of a number of clubs but there has yet to be a formal offer for the 21-year-old.
Ilaix Moriba and Konrad de la Fuente, who have impressed for Barcelona’s U19s are set to make the step up to the B team this season.
