Regional Security outfit, Amotekun has announced the arrest of 37 herdsmen and seizure of 5000 cattle for violating a quit notice issued by the Ondo state government.

The state government issued a 7-day quit notice to herdsmen in government forest reserves across the state.

Confirming the arrests, the state commander of the Amotekun Corps, Chief Adetunji Adeleye disclosed;

“Some of them have opted to leave the state because they couldn’t meet with our terms and conditions.
